Living By Faith, Not Sight

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 23

Living by faith, not by sight, is a cornerstone of the Christian journey. It encourages us to trust in God's plans even when our circumstances seem discouraging. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (GNT) states, "For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight."

Holding onto our faith is crucial when situations look bleak, or our dreams seem unattainable. Our faith acts as a lens through which we view our challenges, helping us to remain hopeful and resilient. During these times of doubt, our faith is most powerful, providing strength and perspective.

Faith, without a doubt, requires patience and a willingness to let go of our need for immediate answers. By placing our trust in God, we acknowledge His sovereignty and believe He works for our good, even when we cannot see it. This trust cultivates a deeper relationship with God, reinforcing our dependence on His unwavering love and guidance.

Quote

Our life should focus on faith first so that things change ahead of us.
