Jehovah Rapha means "The Lord Who Heals,”. This name of God, found in Exodus 15:26 (ESV), says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.” What a verse.
Understanding Jehovah Rapha's significance helps us trust in God's ability to heal our lives. Whether we face physical ailments, emotional wounds, or spiritual struggles, we can turn to Him for restoration and wholeness.
In our Christian lives, embracing Jehovah Rapha means actively seeking His healing through prayer, faith, and obedience to His word. By recognising God as our healer, we deepen our relationship with Him and witness His power in and through our lives.
