Unity

Updated: Feb 22

Unity is essential among God’s people. Psalm 133:1 (NIV) says, "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" The beauty and joy of unity underscore its importance in our lives.

In families, unity fosters a loving environment where each member feels valued and understood. It strengthens bonds, enabling family members to face challenges with resilience and mutual support. A united family reflects God's love and provides a foundation for individuals to grow and thrive.

Unity is crucial for ministry and witness in the church. When the congregation works together in harmony, it becomes a powerful force for good, spreading God's love and message more effectively. Unity in the church also creates a welcoming and nurturing community, encouraging spiritual growth and fostering deeper relationships among believers. By striving for unity in our relationships and church, we honour God and create a stronger, more loving community.

Quote

Always strive for unity, not division; pray and focus on it.

Prayer

Lord, lead my heart to unity through love, without compromise, I pray. Amen.

Action Point

Sometimes, we must apologise to keep unity alive; if you need to - do it!
