Your Legacy

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 22

Leaving a meaningful legacy for your family, church, and the broader gospel of Christ is a life privilege. Proverbs 13:22 (TLB) reminds us, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children." This inheritance goes beyond material wealth; it’s about values, faith, and truth that you set by example.

Demonstrating a Christ-centered life, teaching God's word, and showing unconditional love will guide them long after you are gone. Nurturing their spiritual growth and ensuring they understand the importance of a relationship with God.

Your legacy in your church can be one of service and commitment. Being actively involved, supporting others, and sharing your faith builds a robust and supportive community. Living out the Great Commission by sharing God's love and message with others is essential for the broader gospel of Christ. Your legacy can inspire others to follow Christ, creating a ripple effect extending beyond your immediate reach.

Quote

The legacy of God in your life will influence more people for Jesus than you will ever know.

Prayer

Father, thank You for allowing me to follow You, reflect on You, and stand for You everywhere. Amen.

Action Point

Consider what you would like to achieve for God before being promoted home.
