Life can often feel like a marathon with ups and downs, but maintaining our faith gives us the strength to keep going. When we focus on Jesus, we find the motivation to overcome obstacles and continue moving forward, knowing that our efforts are not in vain.
Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) says, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
To run this race effectively, it's crucial to shed any burdens that may slow us down, like past mistakes and avoid distractions that can lead us astray. By keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and relying on His guidance, we can navigate the race with confidence and hope, trusting that He will lead us to the finish line, where eternity awaits.
QuoteWe are only on earth for a short time; let’s do our best to make it impactful.
