Finding Peace In God’s Presence

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 24

Finding peace in God's presence can revolutionise our lives. When we feel overwhelmed or anxious, turning to God can bring a sense of calm and reassurance. Spending time in prayer and reflection allows us to experience His peace.

The Bible encourages us in Isaiah 26:3 (TLB): "He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord." This reminds us that focusing on God helps us find true peace. For example, starting your day with a quiet prayer and Bible reading can set a peaceful tone for the rest of the day. Reflecting on God's promises and expressing gratitude can shift us from worry to trust.

Another practical way to find peace is to spend time in nature, appreciate God’s creation, and meditate on His goodness. These moments of stillness allow us to connect deeply with God and experience His presence.
