Social media platforms were conceived to bridge distances, allowing us to share our lives and stay connected with others. Many use these platforms to portray only the most polished aspects of their lives, meticulously curating images and updates that gloss over everyday struggles and sad realities.
In Ephesians 2:19 (GNT), the Apostle Paul reminds us, "So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people, and also members of his household." This highlights the deep, authentic connection we share as members of God's family, not reliant on social media.
In Heaven, social media will be obsolete. Our relationships will be direct and transparent. Heaven’s fellowship will offer a closeness that no digital platform can replicate. What a day it will be when we fully see God’s creation and instantly connect with Jesus and the others around us, with no loneliness or sorrow, just Joy.
