Yahweh

Updated: Feb 21

The name Yahweh, profound and sacred, holds a central place in our faith. It comes from the Hebrew verb "to be,". This name was revealed to Moses at the burning bush, as recorded in Exodus 3:14 (NCV): "God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM. This is what you must say to the people of Israel: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Yahweh displays God as the self-existent, unchanging, and eternal One.

In the tapestry of our Christian walk, understanding and revering the name Yahweh deepens our understanding of God's character, closeness, constancy, and covenant commitment to His creation, that’s so wonderful.

As we pray to Yahweh and worship Him, we are drawn into a deeper communion, encouraged by the knowledge that the God who revealed Himself to Moses is the same God who walks with us today, guiding, providing for, and loving us with everlasting love.

Quote

Yahweh created you and everything around you.

Prayer

Yahweh, thank you that I can be in relationship with you. Amen.
