Little Foxes

Updated: Feb 20

In life's vineyard, where we nurture relationships and cultivate understanding, it is often the tiny, seemingly insignificant issues that can cause the greatest discord. Song of Solomon 2:15 (NKJV) warns us, "Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes." If left unattended, little foxes can easily escalate into significant strife, eroding the foundation of trust and love that binds us.

These 'little foxes' represent the petty arguments and miscommunications that can creep unnoticed into our interactions. They thrive in the soil of neglect and indifference, gradually creating rifts between us.

Through open communication, empathy, and forgiveness, we can fortify our bonds against the subtle threats that seek to divide us. Let this approach be guided by the wisdom and love that the Scripture teaches, ensuring that our 'vines' remain strong, fruitful, and united in the face of life's 'little foxes'.

Quote

Always nip ‘little foxes’ in the bud before they become raging wolves.

Prayer

Give me the grace, Lord, to deal with issues I have with family and friends. Amen.

Action Point

You will know the issues in life which irritate you, so it might be time to sort them out.
