St. David (The patron Saint of Wales), or Dewi Sant as he's affectionately known. He was a Celtic monk and bishop in the 6th century. His life speaks of a man who was deeply committed to the teachings of Christ through monastic communities.
The most famous story of his faith is when he caused the ground to rise beneath him while preaching so all could hear his words. "Do the little things in life" is attributed to him. Micah 6:8 (NKJV) says, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?”.
This challenges us to focus on the small acts of kindness and faithfulness that often go unnoticed. His legacy teaches us that spiritual growth often comes from the quiet dedication to God's will in everyday life.
