00620 - Three Rings

Reflecting on the past, our parents would instruct us to "ring three times from a public phone box" to signal that we were okay. It was a simple act of reassurance, using the limited technology of the time. Today, we're more connected than ever, with quick access to each other through devices.

Yet, amidst this whirlwind of technological advancement, our connection with God remains timeless, intimate and barrier-free. Just as Hebrews 4:16 (TLB) encourages us, "Let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need."

Our prayers reach God instantly, transcending time and space. It's a powerful reminder that while we embrace the advancements that bring us closer to each other, our most crucial connection - our direct line to God through prayer - remains the most accessible we will ever have.

Quote

Always remember that you have instant access to the creator of the universe.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for allowing me to communicate with You in prayer at any time. Amen.

Action Point

Has your prayer life drifted in recent times? Spend some time getting back to prayer.
