Five Things

Supporting local communities is essential for creating societies that align with Biblical stewardship principles and neighbourly care. In Galatians 6:10 (ESV), the Bible urges, "As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, especially to those who are of the household of faith." This emphasises the importance of bolstering those around us, including local businesses.

Unlike national chains, local stores keep more wealth within the community, supporting jobs and local development. Choosing local purchases strengthens community identity and ensures a diverse market.

Local businesses form the community's backbone, offering unique services and fostering a sense of belonging. Opting for local purchases is an investment in our neighbours’ livelihoods and well-being. Committing to buying even five weekly items from local stores significantly impacts. Such actions extend beyond mere financial transactions; they are community solidarity. By doing so, we embody the Biblical call to support our neighbours, reinforcing community ties.
