Colossians 1:18 (NCV) says, "He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy." When Christ heads a household, His love and principles shape everything, creating a foundation of faith and love.
The husband’s role is to protect, lead, and provide, reflecting Christ's strength and guidance. He is to be a pillar of support, making decisions with wisdom and love, ensuring that the family is cared for in material needs and emotional and spiritual growth.
The wife's role is to comfort, teach, and nurture. She weaves warmth and understanding through the home's fabric, imparting knowledge and kindness, fostering a house where every member grows and flourishes. Children are of course, taught to love and obey their parents, all under the watchful care of Christ, the ultimate head of their home.
Let Christ lead you to be the best family you can be.
Lord, help my family realise its potential, I pray. Amen.
Do a bible study about the best ways families can function.
