00520 - Line In The Sand

Carl Brettle

At times, life presents situations that seem overwhelmingly complex. Jesus Himself acknowledged this when He said in John 8:7 (NIV) "Let any one of you who is without sin throw the first stone" Here, Jesus was illustrating the power of drawing a line in the sand and breaking free from the shackles of judgement.

Drawing a line signifies a conscious choice to leave behind what hinders us and focus on God's will. It's a decision to no longer let the past or the situation at hand have power over our Godly future.

Inviting God into every facet of our lives ensures that we are anchored in His promises. No matter the turmoil or confusion, with God as our guide, our future remains bright, filled with purpose and promise. When we draw that line in our circumstances, we aren't erasing the past but choosing a God-centred trajectory for our future.

Quote

Sometimes you have to go against the flow of life for the sake of a bright future.

Prayer
