Faith doesn't bow down to circumstances. It's like Romans 8:28 (NIV) says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Having faith means knowing that even when the chips are down, you're not out. It's not about wearing rose-coloured glasses and pretending everything's fine; it's about seeing the challenges and saying, "Alright, how can I grow through this? How can this make me stronger?" It's a defiant stance, a refusal to let circumstances dictate your spiritual well-being.
When you dig your heels in, clinging to your faith despite what's happening around you, something extraordinary happens. You find a resilience you didn't know you had, a courage that defies logic. The situation might not change immediately, but your perspective will, and sometimes that makes all the difference. Faith is not swayed, not ever.
Quote Faith does not ask circumstances for permission to influence anything.
