Staying focused on God in the whirlwind of life's distractions is easier said than done. You've got work, family, hobbies, and a thousand other things all clamouring for attention. Matthew 6:33 (NIV) says "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
The key to not getting sidetracked is to make God your North Star. When you start your day, instead of reaching for your phone to check emails or social media, why not start with a prayer or a quick read of the Bible?
Ask, "Is what I'm doing now bringing me closer to God or pushing me away?" This simple question can steer you back whenever you start to stray off course. Prioritise God, and you'll find that when He's the focus, everything else falls into place in the most remarkable ways. Prioritise your time with God.
Quote Focus on things eternal not temporal.
Prayer
Lord, thank You that you care so much for me. Help me focus more on You. Amen.
