Faith is a journey, not a destination. With each experience, our faith either wanes or deepens; through this ongoing process, we come to a remarkable understanding of God. Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) says, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." This is built up over time.
Life's challenges and triumphs provide a testing ground for our faith, giving it texture and depth. It's not just about believing when everything is going well but also holding onto that belief when circumstances are unfavourable. Each hurdle overcome, every unexpected blessing and all moments of divine clarity contribute to the substance of our faith.
Therefore, cultivating faith is an active pursuit requiring determination and perseverance. Just as a mariner navigates unknown seas to find new lands, we must boldly navigate the realms of faith, continually seeking a more profound connection with the Divine.
