We will all likely know people who are smarter than us. A better cook, an academic, a sports person. That should never diminish your friendship or worth. Life is made rich from the knowledge, help and experience of others smarter than us. We all bring something to the table of life; you’d be amazed at how people value you, even if you don’t hear it from them.
Proverbs 27:17 (NCV) wisely advises, "As iron sharpens iron, so people can improve each other." The value of mutually enriching relationships suggests that having friends who are smarter than us can serve as an impetus for personal growth and improvement.
Rather than feeling threatened, we should cherish the diversity of skills and wisdom within our friendship circles. By actively celebrating the talents of those around us, we mirror God's love for everyone. All of this makes for an our amazing life journey.
Quote Celebrating the brilliance of others celebrates the majesty of God.
