The Lack Of Aspiration In Youth

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 17

In an era teeming with distractions and transient pleasures, many young people need more aspiration, seeking fulfilment in the temporal rather than pursuing lasting purpose. However, as believers, we have the privilege and responsibility to intercede on their behalf, imploring God to awaken purpose and passion within them.

Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV) reassures us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Though directed at Israel, this promise underscores God's heart towards every generation: He has plans filled with hope for each individual.

Let us fervently pray that today's youth grasp this divine truth. May they understand that their value and purpose stretch far beyond societal standards. In uniting in prayer, we seek God's intervention to rekindle dreams, ignite aspirations, and direct young hearts towards His enduring purpose. Let us pray.

Quote What better investment in prayer than in our young people.

Prayer

Lord, I pray for the young people I know to have passion and purpose in Your Kingdom. Amen.

Action Point

Consider buying an inspiring Christian book for a young person.
