Whether you have stayed up or have been woken up by the Holy Spirit, the night often provides a quiet, uninterrupted space for reflection and God-led prayer. In the stillness of the night, distractions diminish, enabling us to tune in more closely to God's voice. During these tranquil hours, God can often burden our hearts with specific concerns, people, or situations, urging us to intercede.
In Psalm 63:6 (NIV), David says, "On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night." This scripture underscores the value of engaging with God during the night, acknowledging His presence and reflecting upon His deeds.
When God lays something on our hearts at night, He invites deeper intimacy with Him. It's crucial to respond, lifting our intercession. Such moments strengthen our relationship with Him and lead to opportunities for answered prayer as we dig in and pray.
Quote The business of the night is often the furnace of answered prayer.
