00384 - John Wesley

John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, was a remarkable example of passionate faith and unwavering commitment to God's work. His life and ministry continue to inspire us. In Romans 12:11, we read, ‘Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord.’ (NIV)

Wesley's fervent love for God and his desire to spread the Good News fueled his tireless efforts to bring about transformation. He emphasised personal holiness, the importance of small groups, and social justice.

Like Wesley, let us cultivate a zealous spirit for the Lord, not only in our personal lives but also in our service to others. Let us intentionally seek God's will, grow in holiness, and share the Gospel enthusiastically. May we be inspired by John Wesley's example, embracing the call to serve the Lord in all we do fervently. Through faithfulness, may lives be transformed and communities be restored.

Quote A life given over will always bring transformation wherever you are.

Father, help me to learn from John Wesley’s passion and faith. Amen.
