Many households are insured for every eventuality. It is right to ensure our house is safe; our family could live well if we were suddenly taken. It’s a legal requirement to have car insurance etc. Consider what insurance will give your husband or wife and your children. Insurance is a stepping stone to conveying money to the ones you love and the coming generation. That’s all.
Hebrews 13:5 says, ‘Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ (ESV)
Let’s not forget that no insurance policy can buy anyone access to Heaven. Jesus provided on the cross a free death insurance policy - eternal life. No cost, just belief and surrender to His name. How wonderful it is to know that we don’t need to worry about this; just believe in Him.
