If you don’t enjoy what you do, change it. Are the people around you constantly negative? Do you feel anxious about even engaging in your day? If your vocation, whether paid or voluntary, are contrary to the values you hold dear in life, then perhaps it’s time for a change.
There is a reassuring verse of comfort in 2 Thessalonians 3:16, which says, ‘Now may the Lord of peace give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.’ (NCV)
When you get stuck in a rut, pause. Know that God is with you in every circumstance. Then pray and think through any change you could make. Even if that leads you to need to re-train for something new, let your future be bright and hopeful. Don’t settle for the present and stay there; be in faith for a better, brighter future.
