Getting together with a couple of other Christian friends regularly to pray is a powerful gathering. Once you know and understand how each other prays, you’ll find yourselves drawn to pray in agreement about things that were never a second thought.
Matthew 18:19-20 says, ‘Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.’ (NIV)
God loves unity and agreement. When we pray together, we unleash the potential of God; not because He needs us to help Him; but certainly because when we believe, are in agreement, and stand in faith together, we can go deep in prayer to see more answers than ever before. If we don’t pray, answers won’t happen; pray, and they do.
Quote
When we pray together, we multiply the possibility that God will answer our prayer.
Prayer
Thank You, Lord, that I can pray with people. Help me go deeper in prayer with them and You. Amen.
Action Point
If you don’t pray with anyone, find some prayer partners and try it for a few weeks.
