Isaiah 40:31 says ‘but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.’ (NIV)
This is a remarkable verse and one which should encourage anyone in their faith. Hope in Christ will allow us to soar, to be full of energy and not be dissuaded by the things of this world. Soaring in hope as the eagle soars in flight, will give us an entirely new perspective.
When we have hope, we have confidence, we have peace, we exercise grace and mercy. Our outlook with hope is positive and or believe that God will intervene in the most difficult of life’s challenges. Hope allows us to flourish spiritually. If you feel down or depressed, focus on hope for a while; things will change when you do that.

Thank You Lord that in You there is hope. Take me to a deeper understanding of hope I pray. Amen.
