Think back to times in your life when you were very productive or when you achieved something significant in a short period of time. You probably set your mind to it and your determination kicked in to be a greater force in you that the challenge you faced.
James 1:12 says ‘Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.’ (NIV)
Whether it’s a challenge or a trial in life, getting through to the other side is key. If you are going through such a time at the moment, STOP, organise your thoughts, set aside some time to pray and then persevere, don’t procrastinate. Pushing through will give you the best feeling ever and as this scripture says, a crown of life awaits you. Go for it!
