Mothers bring us into the world, teach us how to make choices and then as Christians, pray for us relentlessly. While we grow up, its mothers who bear the brunt of our bad choices and sometimes rebellious behaviour.
When things ‘go off the rails' with their children, mothers deepen their prayer, keep extending love and go above and beyond, in the hope that their children work out OK. In the action point today there is a link to an amazing testimony.
Isaiah 49:15 asks a great question, ‘Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!’ (NIV) Thank you to all you mothers, your children are all the better for you. God knew what He was doing when He created you. Why not share your wisdom with others around you.
