If you live an average of 80.9 years, you will have woken up 29,588 times in a lifetime. Time is something no one can conquer. We should make the best use of the time we have. To have a balanced life is to provide for yourself and your family, support others, stay well and have fun. We should not forget what Jesus said about making disciples of people we meet, outlined in Matthew 28.
Psalm 90:12 says, ‘Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.’ (NIV)
Faith encourages us to learn from God as we gain His wisdom. Ask God what we should focus on each day. Then we will likely see outcomes and impacts that we never thought might happen. Let us glorify God with our time and through us, many people could come to know God in a much deeper way.
Quote
Time reminds us of our mortality, eternity reminds us we will not be confined by time.
Prayer
Lord thank you for the time we have, help us daily Lord, to use time in the very best way we can. Amen.
Action Point
At least once a year, review what you use your time on and whether you should continue to do that or something else.
