Typically something that is thought of as a night out in the UK, fellowship with a curry has become common place. It is time to catch up with people, have some laughs, banter and food. It is the opportunity to be with people you like and also meet new friends.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, ‘Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.’ (ESV)
The beauty of fellowship is to have a moment to be free of the woes of the day and just enjoy company and its fun. It’s important sometimes to put some distance between a problem and the opportunity to give your mind a chance to breathe. If you haven’t done a curry night like this for a while, it’s time to organise something. Who ever you know, spend some time with them in relaxed fellowship over a meal or cuppa.
Quote
A good friend will bring sense and a smile to anything you are going through.
Prayer
Lord, help me to join in fellowship and provide fellowship for as many people I am able. Amen.
Action Point Covid stopped normal fellowship for a couple of years, so if you used to do go for meals, it might be time to rekindle that for everyones benefit.
