Over Christmas a lot of Christians tend to think about the books they would like to read in the coming year or something that they might study. When I say study I mean, read something and then think about how that informs your view of faith and life.
Psalm 119:105 says ‘Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.’. (ESV)
Let’s encourage one another to build our faith, by digging into scripture and speaking that encouragement over each other. The coming year is a time to go deeper in faith and go further in our understanding of God. There might be something you’ve wanted to study - Prayer, Gifts of the Spirit, Faith itself, all of that will surely become a rich source of life in this coming year, don’t just sit there, find more of God through study. You will be really blessed.
The more you invest your time, the more you will feel blessed by Him.
Lord, help me understand you more this year, help me to grow my faith in You, Amen.
Find a friend and swap ideas of study, then through the year, meet and talk with each other about what you both have learned.
