A simple question is - why would we not dedicate the coming year to the Lord ? Our family, our health, our work, friendships, Church and everything else. When we bring all of that to the Lord, we say to Him, come and influence all of these things for your Glory.
James 5:16-17 in the Message says ‘Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with’. (MSG)
Let’s plan to this coming year to go to Church and then focus on three things, family, street and community. If we prayed for peace, breakthrough, and for God’s presence to come, each day of the year, guess what, that is what would happen if we are really persistent in prayer.
Quote
You get what you pray for and what you don’t pray for.
