If you’re single, encourage the couples around you to maintain date night. If you are in a relationship, then, spending regular quality time together will keep your relationship, fresh and interesting.
Ephesians 4:2 says, ‘Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love’ (NIV). That might be harder to do some days than others.
After time relationships can get stale, can need stirring up again. If you don’t spend time together tensions can also run high and arguments creep in. Doing something nice together where you avoid the stresses of life and focus on love, will help you serve one another and will stop you drifting apart. Date night is one of those little things you could do to relax and have fun, helping you both remember why you are together in the first place and what it was that brought you to fall in love.
Quote Strong relationships happen when we spend quality time together.
Prayer Lord, let the love that brought us together be rekindled, I pray, Amen.
