It’s easy to be persuaded to watch a movie, eat the snacks we enjoy, and become a couch potato if we do too much of it. Covid taught many of us, that it was easy to indulge when we had time on our hands, then difficult to get back on track. You may be feeling lethargic, sleep patterns out of sync, so now is the time to take some steps to sort it out.
Romans 12:2 says, ‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind’ (NIV).
God knows we are susceptible to temptation, He really does. Start with a walk, eat a bit healthier food, remove the rubbish, and focus on what your body was designed to eat, fruit and veg. You are not the first and won’t be the last person to decide to make a change like this!

Prayer Father, I am a custodian of the body I am blessed with. Help me take care of myself, Amen.

It’s always easier to lose weight when doing it with a friend, you share the journey and hold one another accountable.
