Jude 1:23 is clear ‘save others by snatching them from the fire; to other show mercy, mixed with fear-hating even the clothes stained by corrupted flesh’.
It is a wonderful sense of security and comfort to know we have been snatched from the fire by Jesus. Our sin overcome because of His sacrifice for us, making a way for us to be in fellowship and communion with God. It might be someone prayed us through to that point, it might be a friend invited us to Alpha or a Church service. Whichever way it happened, hallelujah for the day we made a decision for Jesus.
With that gift of grace in our lives, let’s think about and pray for those who have not yet been snatched from the fire, themselves. The best gift we could ever give anyone is to be a signpost to salvation, the promise of eternal life.
Quote You have been snatched from the fire by the grace of God.
Prayer Thank you, Lord, for your wonderful gift of grace to me through Jesus. Help me share Jesus with others, Amen.
Action Point Most of us have a prayer list of things we devote prayer time to, why not make a shortlist of those who you will pray for until they come to Christ.
