Proverbs 18:15 says ‘The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out’. (NIV)
When life becomes so withdrawn that we cease to desire to learn, we need an abrupt stop and a deep look at why. Life can be so rich and so full of the opportunity to learn, that our minds can be filled with awe and wonder
Many people learn to be a blessing to those around them, often volunteering their knowledge or talent to someone else in need. Whether it’s carpentry, chess, cooking skills or astronomy, there is a fundamental benefit to everyone when you learn something. Let’s remember God designed us in a way that the desire for knowledge which benefits is built into us from birth right through to the grave. If you have a skill which could help someone, why not use it for their encouragement today.
Quote Knowledge is the gateway to blessing others.
Prayer Father, help me use what I have learned for the benefit of the people around me, Amen.
Action Point Why not consider volunteering into a group where you could help someone else with the knowledge you have.
