There will be occasions in life when you need to take the lead on something even if that’s the last thing you want to do. Perhaps it’s a speech, a family matter or something at work, that if you don’t do it, it will be worse or even fail.
Here are five great characteristics of a leader, 1) humility, 2) integrity, 3) values people, 4) speaks truth, 5) forgives. Titus 1:7-11 spells this out.
We all face difficult situations at some time in life, yet it’s what we do in those times of pressure, those times of disquiet, when the issue is always on our minds and we’re not sure what to do. None of us will know the outcome if we don’t try. Using the five points above and without trying to score points over someone else, perhaps it’s time in the difficulty you are going through, to lead!
Quote A leader helps others give themselves to the task ahead and appreciate it.
Prayer Lord, if I am to lead, give me peace, be with me Lord and fill my mouth with your wisdom, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Action Point
Whatever you do in a leadership context be reasonable, sometimes you don’t see all the circumstance, which will eventually come to the surface.
